FM says Egypt continues efforts to help political resolution in Syria

Overseas Minister Sameh Shoukry on Friday stated Egypt continues its efforts to help a political resolution in Syria in accordance with UN Safety Council Decision No. 2254.

Throughout his assembly with UN Particular Envoy for Syria Geir Pedersen in New York, the Egyptian prime diplomat harassed the significance of constant coordination to push the political resolution ahead, Spokesman for the Overseas Ministry Ambassador Ahmed Abo Zeid stated in statements.

Shoukry reiterated the precedence that Egypt attaches to transferring on the completely different paths to resolve the disaster, and the necessity to intensify efforts on this regard, the spokesman added.

In the course of the assembly, the 2 sides harassed the necessity to make sure the Syrian folks’s entry to humanitarian assist to alleviate their struggling, the spokesman stated.
