Refugee Motion has responded to a different tragedy within the Channel by which at the very least three individuals have died.
Tim Naor Hilton, Chief Govt of Refugee Motion, stated:
“That is heartbreaking, and our ideas exit to the family members of people that have died and to refugees in every single place for who this might be retraumatising.

“Since then dozens of individuals have died off the south coast, but the Authorities has doubled down on costly and futile get-tough-quick schemes that solely make deaths within the Channel extra seemingly.
“The Authorities should create extra routes to achieve the UK to assert asylum. Till they do, extra individuals will die making an attempt to achieve security right here.”
